今日の通勤ＣＤ（バッハ・マタイ受難曲）
バッハ・マタイ受難曲／レオンハルト／ラ・プティット・バンド／テルツ少年合唱団（deutsche harmonia mundi RD77848）
冒頭合唱が頭で鳴るので選択。心に大打撃を受けたときはマタイだ（たぶん）。通勤の往復＋昼休みをかけても聴ききれるものではないのだが。（結局２５，２６日と２日かけて聴く）
学生時代の後輩が「マタイはレオンハルトのがいい」と言っていたのでずっと欲しかったのだが，入手したのはわりと最近だ。先日聴いたアーノンクールのカンタータ集では少年合唱団のソリストがやや不安定な歌唱で少々不満だったが，この盤の少年合唱団のソリストはかなり安定しており，ほとんど不満はない。
マタイは聴きどころ満載でいいところばかりなのだが、機会を得てマタイの演奏に参加させてもらえることになったので、今までとはちょっと違う聴き方になった。例えば金に目がくらんだユダがイエスに口づけした後、「友よ、なぜ来たのか」とイエスが言うあたりは衝撃的だなあ，と思ったり。これによってイエスが捕らえられて第一部が終わるわけだが、まさに物語が動き出す部分になんと劇的なつくりなのか。よく研究して臨みたい。
